Ajou University Advanced Medical Bio ICC Center Director Kim Su-dong and Advanced Medical Bio ICC Professor Park Dong-wook research team administered white blood cells mixed with 10 \u03bcl of diluted Bokbunja seed oil to cancer cells. The research team administered bokbunja seed oil to cultured leukocytes for 6 hours. As a result of administration, the production of interferon gamma increased to about 125.8% compared to the control group not administered with Bokbunja seed oil.<\/p>\n
Through this study, it was found that bokbunja seed oil promotes the secretion of immunoactive substances in cultured mouse immune cell line (RAW264.7 cell) and human immune cell line (THP-1 cell).<\/p>\n
In the activation of immune cells secreted from human whole blood, secretion of immunoactive substances was promoted, and as a result, the death of target cancer cells was directly promoted.<\/p>\n
In addition, the number of human natural killer cells (NK cells) in the culture system was increased.<\/p>\n
